**   These are classmates who voluntarily withdrew, were involuntarily expelled, did not meet graduation requirements by 1971 graduation dates, moved away, voluntarily enlisted, were involuntarily drafted, died prior to graduating [none in our class], or for some other reason attended DHS as part of our class between the fall of 1968 and summer of 1971, inclusive, but did not graduate from DHS in June or August 1971.  The number of "non-graduate" classmates, i.e., those classmates who did NOT graduate in June or August 1971, was determined by identifying those classmates who were NOT listed in our Commencement Program booklet for 1971 as June 1971 graduates, nor in the 1972 Commencement Program booklet as August 1971 graduates, BUT who were nevertheless pictured or listed in any of our 1968 -1971 Pioneer Yearbooks, or listed in any of our Reunion booklets, or listed in the 2008 Dearborn High School Alumni Directory, or named in our school newspaper, "The Observer" ....as members of our class.  (NOTE: a very small number of students were erroneously pictured or listed in our Pioneer Yearbooks or Reunion booklets - these students were also identified as such, and they are not included among the 104.)
