Jay Niver Obituary

Jay Aldon Niver died at his home on Monday, December 17, 2018.   He worked for the Post Office in Dearborn, Michigan for 20 years before retiring and moving to Midland, Michigan.  He was a client of the Arc of Midland where he lived in a home with dedicated care takers.  He finally had a peer group to socialize with and was included in many activities provided by the Arc which he enjoyed.  He especially enjoyed musical events and painting ceramics.  He is survived by brother, Ray Niver (Eva Marie) of Westport, Connecticut; and sister, Nancy Peck (Roger) of Gladwin, Michigan.  He is also survived by his nephews, Ray and Stephen Niver, and Dan (Jessica) and Randy (Lindsey) Peck; and niece, Lisa; great-nieces, Julia, Natalie, Elizabeth, and Aria.  A memorial service will be held in January 2019.
