Cornelius (Neil) DeStigter passed away peacefully in Livonia, Michigan on January 5, 2018 at age 93.  Beloved husband of Priscilla for 64 years, who preceded him in death, March 2017.  Loving father of Helen Geglio (Michael), Alice de Stigter (Louis Mitchell), Beth Jorgensen (Scott).  Cherished Grandfather of 8 and great-grandfather of 4.  Neil was a proud World War II Army Veteran, Dearborn Public School teacher, and UCC Minister.  A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 16, 10:30 AM at Salem United Church of Christ, Farmington, with a Visitation at the church one hour before the service.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Salem United Church of Christ Memorial Fund.
