Cornell Guth was a mathematics teacher at Dearborn High.  In addition to degrees earned at the universities listed below, Mr. Guth also earned a third masters degree in mathematics at the University of Utah.  He was born on September 5, 1923.  He died of kidney cancer on January 4, 1993 at age 69.  Mr. Guth lived in Mesa, Arizona at the time of his death.  He is survived by his wife, Lucy Ann, and his children, fellow classmate Linda Guth Trout (DHS '71), Larry Guth (DHS '73) and Brian Guth (DHS '74).
