Most of my accomplishments have been in active things. I was in Sports Illustrated for being a 3-time AAU National Wrestling Champ and did body building for 10 years eventually winning the NANBA Grand Masters competition in 2006 and 2007 for the State of Michigan. I still hold the State of Michigan Record for Chin ups (38) and Dips (47), though my wife calls it my "Chips and Dips" contest. I was blessed to have taught elementary students to be active for 32 years and to have coached soccer, weightlifting, jump rope teams, and wrestling for over 20 years total.

I had a full ride scholarship in Modern Dance to The University of Michigan. I danced professionally with the Alvin Ailey 2nd Company and was on scholarship in New York City with Martha Graham’s Dance Company.

In truth, the greatest (and wisest) thing I've ever done was to ask Jesus into my life and the second was marrying my wife, Debbie. I have some health constraints now, but remain extremely active. Wishing all of you blessings from above!

I now live in Florida-winters, Georgia-spring and fall and I enjoy staying active and spending time with my grandchildren, who are here in Florida and Georgia! ! My wife and I do have a cottage in Frankfort, MI ( nearTraverse City) that we visit in the summer.

If you remember me it is probably as a wrestler. I am still good friends with Tommy Keramaris and was in close contact with Coach Lanzi until he passed onto Heaven.

I was privileged to be in honors math with Mr. Marshall and eventually taught high school math myself for a year. I know he would be proud, and a bit surprised! I was blessed to have been on Coach Schroeter's Cross Country team for 2 years. Eventually running a marathon (26.2 miles) and 18 years of half marathons (13.1 miles.)

I was 30th out of 33 in runningCross Country, but got better and eventually was 30th out of 30. (The other 3 all told me when I beat them, they knew it was time for them to quit the team. (I don't think they had a lot of confidence in my ability. Yes, they were quite insightful at the time!! Haha!!)
